Registration Overview & Conference Policies

Conference Policies

  1. Refund Policy: Full refunds for any dropped delegates will be provided for 48 hours after a delegation submits their original registration for SageMUN (submitting the Google Form). Any drops after this 48-hour period will be non-refundable.

  2. Delegation-size Change Policy: A delegation may change their delegation size at any time before the conference date. As mentioned above, delegate drops 48 hours after a delegation’s original registration are non-refundable. For adding delegates, delegations must pay the registration fee that corresponds to the current registration window (regular or late), regardless of when they submitted their original registration. Delegations should not fill out the registration form again to add or drop delegates. Instead, a delegation that intends to add or drop delegates at any time shall email sagemunsecretariat@gmail.com with the following information:

    • Either the represented school’s name or, for independent delegates, a statement that the delegate is independent.

    • The number of delegates the delegation intends to add or drop.

  3. Payment Deadline Policy: Delegations must pay their registration fee in-full either within 30 days of their original registration or by October 3rd, 2025 whichever is closer to the time at which the delegation originally registered. Delegations that have not paid before this deadline will incur a blanket $20 payment penalty. Delegations that have not paid or provided a sound reasoning for a delay in payment by October 4th, 2025 will not be permitted to participate in SageMUN.

  4. Allocation Policy: Delegations will not receive their committee allocations until the SageMUN Secretariat receives their payment.

  5. COVID-19 policy: The SageMUN Secretariat does not intend to impose COVID-19 masking or testing policies for attending SageMUN 2025. Nevertheless, delegates may wear face masks during the conference should they wish to do so. In the unlikely event that COVID-19 poses a significant concern again, the SageMUN Secretariat will update the COVID-19 policies and implement measures (e.g. masking) to keep everyone safe.
