Meet the SageMUN 2025 Secretariat
Gabriel Dalton
Gabriel is a senior at Pomona College from Pasadena, California majoring in History and minoring in Mathematics. A transfer student from Pasadena City College, he only made his first plunge into Model UN in his sophomore year of college, but he has nonetheless rapidly developed a passion for the activity. Also the president of the Pomona Student Union, you can often find him in one of Pomona’s many lounge areas, bashing away at his laptop while listening to everything from the Police, to Coltrane, to Janelle Monae.

Akshay Seetharam
Akshay is a junior at Harvey Mudd College double majoring in Mathematical and Computational Biology and Music History and Theory. His first foray into Model United Nations was eight years ago in 6th grade (as Turkmenistan on the issue of statelessness) and he is now beginning his third year on the PCMUN team, and second year on the SageMUN Secretariat after SGing the inaugural high school SageMUN 2024. Outside of MUN, he is a leader of the Claremont Colleges’ nationally-ranked Quiz Bowl team and makes the crosswords for the student newspaper.

Jannat Verma
Jannat Verma is a senior at Scripps College dual majoring in Politics and American Studies. They are originally from Dallas, Texas—and began competing in Model UN once they got to college. They have been on the PCMUN team since their freshman year and specialize in crisis.

Andrew Curtice
Andrew is a sophomore at Pitzer College majoring in Political Studies. Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Andrew got his start in Model UN in tenth grade in high school representing Colombia in the Human Rights Council. This is his second year as a member of PCMUN, and he currently serves as the team’s social media manager. Outside of Model UN, Andrew enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and generally going out into nature.

Anjali Suva
Anjali is a junior at Pomona College majoring in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. She is originally from Orange County, California. Besides a brief stint with Model UN in high school, she officially participated in Model UN as a sophomore in college. Outside of Model UN, you can find her working as a tour guide or watching films in her free time.
